Pirates Host Huskies in BIG EAST Tournament Win-and-In

SOUTH ORANGE, N.J. – In a Senior Day clash that will decide both teams' postseason fates, Seton Hall men's soccer (7-2-7, 3-0-4 BIG EAST) will look to close out BIG EAST play with a win to secure a spot in the BIG EAST Tournament when they play host to the UConn Huskies (9-3-4, 4-2-1 BIG EAST) at Owen T. Carroll Field in the Pirates' final regular season match.'

Match time is scheduled for 6:56 p.m. and will be broadcast live on ESPN+.

LAST TIME OUT

Last Saturday, the Pirates travelled to Omaha, Neb., to take on Creighton Blue Jays at Morrisson in a match with massive postseason implications.
The Pirates jumped out to an early lead when Mikkel Lejbowicz continued his hot streak, scoring a circus goal while lying on the ground to go in front 1-0 in the 7^th minute.

Before the first half was over, however, Creighton would find an equalizer before half to even the game at 1-1. Both sides failed to find an equalizer, resulting in a draw and both teams collecting a potentially important single point each.

This will be the 37th all-time matchup between Seton Hall and UConn.
The Pirates hold a 16-15-5 record against the Huskies with a 10-4-0 record at Owen T. Carroll Field.
