How it Happened
After a relatively quiet start to the game, the Pirates finally broke through in the 23rd minute. CJ Tibbling (Jarna, Sweden) laid a pass off for Pex on the far sideline where Pex crossed a ball to the top of the box. With a leap, Amir was able to get his right foot on the ball and redirected it past the Black Knight keeper and in for the opening salvo at Malek Stadium at Clinton Field.

In the 32nd minute, Brandon Bryant ripped a long shot into the upper right corner of the net to level the game at one where it would remain going into the halftime break.
Nearly 30 minutes into the second period, the Pirates would strike again, this time off a James Boote (Southampton, England) corner kick. Boote would take the corner from the near sideline where the 6-foot-6-inch Riihijarvi would get his head on the ball and send it into the side of the net to put The Hall up 2-1.

With the Pirates leading late, Army would rally for a game-tying goal in the 86th minute. On an in between cross that was headed away by Jack Eaton, John Poncy was able to bounce a shot over the head of Pirate keeper Andreas Nota (Rome, Italy) for the equalizer that would send the game into overtime.
Turning Point
Last time out, the Pirates picked up an overtime win over NJIT in the fifth minute of extra time. In similar fashion, the Pirates would find another game-winner, this time six minuted into the extra period. JP Marin (Briarwood, N.Y.) laid off a ball to Pex on the far sideline, near where he recorded the first assist of the game. This time however, Pex was able to get the ball on net where it hit the Army keeper and bounced in for the game-winning goal.
