
The Hall Travels to Lehigh on Saturday

BETHLEHEM, P.A. – The Seton Hall men's soccer team will look to get back in the win column when they travel to Bethlehem, Pa. for a match against Lehigh on Saturday.  The contest is scheduled to begin at 6:00 p.m.

LAST CONTEST
The Pirates were defeated 2-1 on Sept. 8 against Florida International after allowing two goals late in the first half. Â In a span of five minutes, the Panthers scored twice just before halftime. Â Vittorio Argeri (Genoa, Italy) was the lone Pirate to score, converting on a penalty kick after a foul only 44 seconds into the second half.

SCOUTING LEHIGH
The Mountain Hawks started the season with two straight victories before dropping their most recent contest against Wisconsin, 2-1. Â Lehigh has had early season success due to their offensive tempo, as they have out-shot opponents 42-20. Â Junior Trevor Koski leads the team with five points on two goals and one assist, registering at least one point in each match so far this season. Â Sophomore Josh Luchini is the owner of the other two goals for the Mountain Hawks, as he has found the back of the net in the last two competitions.

After Lehigh, The Hall will begin BIG EAST Conference competition in its next game. The Pirates will travel to Providence on Friday, Sept. 20. Game time is scheduled for 7:00 p.m.

QUICK KICKS
- The Hall scored six goals in their season opener, nearly accounting for half the goals scored from last season (14) in just one match.
- Graduate transfer Stephen Elias (Rye, N.Y.) was named BIG EAST Offensive Player of the Week last Monday. He took home the honors after scoring a hat trick against Central Connecticut State.
- The Pirates are 2-2 in the all-time series against Lehigh. Their two most recent matches in 2016 and 2017 were split between the universities, with the Mountain Hawks capturing the last contest, 3-1.
- After playing its home opener at Red Bulls Training Facility, The Hall expects to play its remaining home matches back at Owen T. Carroll Field upon completion of the venue's renovations.
