Pirates Fall Short at Lehigh

Bethlehem, Pa. - The Seton Hall men's soccer team played evenly with Lehigh across 90 minutes, but an early second-half Mountain Hawks goal doomed the Pirates in a 1-0 defeat Saturday night at Ulrich Sports Complex.
Seton Hall's best chances to score came early in the first half. In the 16th minute, a free kick went into the box that freshman Eden O'Leary (Tel Aviv, Israel) got a great head on but the ball went just wide of the net. In the 28th minute, senior Vittorio Argeri (Genoa, Italy) got a one-on-one opportunity just outside the box and his kick bent in towards the goal but sailed just inches high.
Turning Point
In the 50th minute, Lehigh received a corner kick opportunity, and Natan Rosen's blast reached the box, where Josh Luchini was close enough to blast a kick past the goalkeeper for a tally. The Pirates only had one shot on goal the remaining 40 minutes.
