West Haven, Conn. – The Pirate attack erupted for five goals, two of which came from Kileigh Gorman, as Seton Hall earned a 5-0 victory at New Haven on Sunday afternoon. The five goals are the most in a match for the Pirates since they scored six against Iona on Sept. 9, 2021. The 5-0 win is also the program's largest margin of victory since Oct. 20, 2013 against Villanova.

How it Happened
Seton Hall got the scoring going early, finding the back of the net four times inside the first half hour of the match. In the 10^th minute, Gorman forced a turnover in the Pirate attacking third, evaded the defense, and ripped a shot into the upper 90 for a spectacular first goal of the day.

Moments later in the 17^th minute, Macie Mietz was able to find open space in the penalty area to tap home her first goal as a Pirate. Later in the 25^th minute, Nina Davis fired one into the back of the next off a set piece for her first goal of the season. The onslaught continued just three minutes later, as Gorman would score her second goal of the first half to make it a 4-0 game.

In the second half, the Pirates would tack on one more to add to their sizeable lead. In the 59^th minute, Gianna Delgado took the ball at midfield and played a pass forward to Gianna Angelillo. The senior won the race to the ball at the far edge of the penalty area and knocked home her second goal of the year to extend the advantage.
