South Orange, N.J. - Seton Hall men's soccer looks to rebound in their penultimate game of BIG EAST play when the Pirates travel to Corcoran Field in Cincinnati, Ohio, on Saturday to take on Xavier. Game time is scheduled for 7 p.m.

SERIES HISTORY
- Seton Hall and Xavier last met on September 17, 2022, in an early season match where Musketeers were ranked No. 24 in the nation. After the two sides jockeyed for momentum early, Xavier found the back of the net first in the 38th minute to grab a 1-0 lead. The Musketeers would hold on to that lead heading into the break. After a early second half lull, in the 79th minute the Musketeers would score off a header in the box to take a 2-0 lead. In the 84th minute, a great individual effort from Borg allowed him to find space at the edge of the six-yard box and blasted one past Xavier goalkeeper Cole Jensen to cut the Musketeer lead to 2-1. The Pirates managed to secure one final chance in the 90th minute when Andrea Borg was fouled in the penalty area, drawing a PK for the Pirates. Â Johannes Pex stepped up to the spot and buried the penalty kick, securing a 2-2 draw at the death.
