- Seton Hall and Georgetown last met on November 4, 2023, in the opening round of the BIG EAST Championship. The Hoyas found the back of the net early on, as a goal from Kyle Linhares in the 12th minute gave Georgetown an early 1-0 edge. The Pirates possessed in the attacking third more as the half wore on but went into halftime trailing. In the second hald, Hugo Gerbore leveled the score off assists from Rikard Cedeberg and James Boote. A late red card on the Pirates gave the Hoyas the advantage heading into the final 25 minutes, which they then capitalized on with an 86th minute goal by Matthew Van Horn. The Pirates could not find the response at the death, eliminating them from the BIG EAST Championship on a 2-1 loss.

- Goals from Rikard Cederberg and Jon Vignir Pétursson led No. 11 Seton Hall men's soccer to a 2-1 victory over Butler for the Pirates ninth win of the season.

- In the 66th minute, another Pirate offensive allowed Rikard Cederburg to finish a shot to the far post, extending the Pirates' lead to 2-0.
