South Orange, N.J. -Â The No. 11Â ranked Seton Hall men's soccer looks to rebound from a midweek loss with its second BIG EAST win of the season when Butler visit the Pirates on Saturday at Owen T. Carroll Field. Game time is scheduled for 2 p.m.

- Seton Hall and Butler last competed on October 29, 2022, in the Pirates' final regular season match. The two sides engaged in a defensive first half that featured five total shots. Neither team was able to formulate too dangerous of a chance, but the most threatening opportunity came in the 34th minute. Butler's Wilmer Cabrera dribbled a ball inside the penalty area, forcing Hannes Ronnholmen to come off his line and save the ball. Â Despite good attacking chances in the 55th and 87th minutes, the Pirates could not find the back of the net, ending the match in a 0-0 draw.
- This is the 10th matchup between the two programs, the first of which came in 2013.
- Seton Hall is 2-5-2 all-time against Butler with a 2-1-1 record in their last four meetings.
- On Friday, Seton Hall visited Stony Brook at LaValle Stadium for the Pirates' penultimate non-conference match of the season. The Pirates fell 2-1.
