
Pirates Return to Owen T. Carroll Field; Host DePaul Saturday at 6:30

SOUTH ORANGE, N.J. – The Seton Hall men's soccer team will compete at the newly renovated Owen T. Carroll Field for the first time this season as the Pirates gear up for their second conference match of the year.  The Hall will face DePaul at 6:30 p.m. Please note the updated game time.

PROMOTION
The first 50 fans to attend the match will receive a Seton Hall soccer scarf, and the first 100 fans will receive a Seton Hall soccer stress ball to commemorate the return to Owen T. Carroll Field.
PIRATES ROUT NJIT
Junior Camil Koreichi (Paris, France) scored a pair of goals, and graduate student Sean Macleod (Troon, Scotland) put in the game-winner as the Pirates downed NJIT, 4-1, Tuesday night at Lubetkin Field at Mal Simon Stadium. Koreichi's brace and Macleod's goal were firsts for both with the Pirates.  Freshman Andrea Borg (Sliema, Malta) scored the team's fourth of goal of the night, his second of the season.
SCOUTING DE PAUL
The Pirates are 2-5-2 against DePaul since the Blue Demons entered in the BIG EAST in 2005.  Last season, the teams played to a 1-1 draw in Chicago. Francisco Alderete scored the Pirates' lone goal, which was assisted by Carlton McKenzie (Birmingham, England).  The Pirates last win in the series came a year earlier, a 2-1 victory at Owen T. Carroll Field.

To begin the year, DePaul is 4-3-1 and is coming off a 1-0 victory at Oakland on Tuesday. Â Senior defender Max De Bruijne leads the Blue Demons in points with seven due to his two points and two assists. The only other player to have multiple goals for DePaul on the 2019 campaign is freshman forward David Gripman, who also has two scores.
