Reich, Soldra Named To BIG EAST Weekly Honor Roll

New York, N.Y. -- Pitcher Ryan Reich and outfielder AJ Soldra have been named to the BIG EAST Weekly Honor Roll after helping the Seton Hall baseball team to a series victory over Creighton at Mike Sheppard, Sr. Stadium this past weekend.
Reich earned the win in the series opener against Creighton after allowing no earned runs and collecting six strikeouts in 6.0 innings. His six strikeouts matched his season high and he truck out the side in the top of the sixth inning that closed his outing.
Soldra hit .500 (5-for-10) with three runs, two RBI and an on-base percentage of .615 in three games. He tied for the team lead in hits on the weekend, recorded two multi-hit games and had at least one hit in all three games. In the clutch, Soldra drove in the go-ahead run in the bottom of the fifth inning on a two RBI base hit in Seton Hall's series-opening win on Saturday.
