South Orange, N.J. -Â The Seton Hall men's soccer team dropped a hard-fought battle with Villanova on Wednesday night, 1-0 at Owen T. Carroll Field. The setback ends the Pirates' 2019 season with a record of 6-7-1 overall and 3-5-1 in conference.
Turning Point
After a scoreless first half, Villanova earned a corner after a flurry of attacks in the early second period. The Wildcats' Theo Quartey crossed the corner into the box and onto the head of Shane Bradley where it found the back of the net for the lone goal of the match.Â
The Hall played spirited down the stretch to try and mount a comeback but ultimately came up just short in their effort to find the equalizer.Â
