
Three Pirates score against Fordham to win fourth-straight

SOUTH ORANGE, N.J. – The Pirates picked up their fourth-straight win on Tuesday night, a 3-1 victory over Fordham at Owen T. Carroll Field.
Senior Carlton McKenzie (Birmingham, England) got the Pirates on the board as he put away his second goal of the season. McKenzie settled the ball in the box and fired a shot into the top right corner of the goal to break the nil-nil tie.
Turning Point:
Following a Fordham goal in the 54th minute, Thr Hall was able to draw a foul just outside the Fordham box to set up a free kick within striking distance. Graduate student Sean Macleod (Troon, Scotland) proceed to put the free kick in the back of the net to put the Pirates up on the scoreboard.
Senior Vittorio Argeri (Genoa, Italy) gave the Pirates some insurance with a late goal, his second of the season, to push the Pirates to victory.

- The four-game winning streak is the Pirate's longest since they started the 2008 campaign with four consecutive wins.
- The Pirates remain undefeated in home matches at a perfect 4-0 in four bouts this season.
- Graduate student Stephen Elias (Rye, N.Y.) picked up the assist on Argeri's goal, his second helper of the season to give him a team-leading 10 points on the year.
- The Pirates move to 17-12-2 all-time against the Rams, including six-straight Pirate victories with the last one coming in 1992, a 4-1 victory.
- Seton Hall improves to 5-4 overall with the victory.
