How it Happened
- The Bluejays struck first with an unearned run in the top of the first, getting the leadoff batter on before pushing a run across after a fielding error on the infield
- In the top of the fourth Creighton doubled its lead with another unearned run, capitalizing on another infield error with an RBI double
- Camp kicked her game up over the final three innings, striking out four and allowing only two baserunners between the fifth and seventh innings to keep The Hall within two runs
- Darby Pandolfo (Massapequa, N.Y.) cut the Bluejay lead in half in the bottom of the seventh, rocketing a solo home run to left center
- A batter later, CU hurler Kiele Miller finished off her complete game effort with her 10th strikeout to secure the one-run victory
- Camp was brilliant in a 7.0 inning complete game, scattering six hits and allowing two runs (none earned) with a walk and nine strikeouts
- The Pirates were slightly out-hit, 6-5, and committed both of the game's errors
- Alexis Walkden (Cibolo, Texas) had two of The Hall's hits, her eighth multi-hit game of the year
- The senior also became the third player in SHU history to hit the 200 career hit mark

- Camp recorded her 10th complete game of the season
Game 2 – Creighton 12, Seton Hall 4
How it Happened
- The Bluejays struck for a pair of runs in the first, then burst out for seven runs in the second
- Down 9-0 in the bottom of the fourth The Hall attempted to claw back, with Beaver following a Walkden double by launching a two-run home run to dead center
- Later in the frame, Alyssa Prukop (Coto de Caza, Calif.) came through with a two-out, bases-loaded pinch-hit single up the middle to slim the lead to 9-4
- Creighton responded with three runs in the top of the fifth to put the run-rule back into play
- The Pirates were out-hit 13-4 in the setback and committed the game's only error
- Beaver's home run was her fourth this season and third in her last six games
- With two RBIs, Beaver has knocked in multiple runs in a game a team-high nine times this year
- The double in the fourth for Walkden was her 43rd career two-bagger, five shy of the program record
- Sara Foster (Laguna Beach, Calif.) drew a walk and scored a run and has reached base safely in six-straight contests
