MOUNT PLEASANT, S.C. - Eric Lagg (Lafayette, N.J.) scored in the final minute of the first half to help pace the Seton Hall men's soccer team (0-1-1) to a 1-1 draw with reigning SoCon champion Furman (0-1-1) on Sunday afternoon at Patriots Point. The contest marked the conclusion of the Nike/Aaron Olitsky Memorial Soccer Classic hosted by the College of Charleston.
Lagg's goal gave The Hall a 1-0 lead heading into the break, before Furman equalized early in the second half with a 47th minute tally. Julian Spindler (Weiserbach, Germany) made all four of his saves on the day in the second frame to keep the contest dead-locked and help the Hall to its first result of the 2015 season.
Turning Point
After finding an equalizer early in the second frame, Furman unleashed a flurry of shots on goal in a six-minute span, the third of which was saved by Spindler in the 68th minute to keep the contest tied and help force the eventual draw.

"On a day like this facing a very good team in weather conditions we had, I am extremely pleased with the way our kids battled. We had an overall contribution from everyone, from the starters to guys coming off the bench and I am happy with our overall team effort."
