Freshman Aiden Robbins (Yardley, Pa.) went 1-for-3 with a single as he picked up his 12th hit in his last ten games.
How It Happened
It was a scoreless game heading into the seventh inning until Georgetown was able to score three runs in the bottom half of the inning. Two runs came from a two RBI single and a double in the gap made it a 3-0 game.
Despite strong outings from the Pirates pitching, the offense was not able to capitalize leaving ten runners left on base. Senior Max Viera (Greenwood Lake, N.Y.) went 1-for-4 to extend his hit streak to four games as the Pirates finished with six hits.
