The Hall Hits the Bronx for Fordham Tournament

BRONX, N.Y. – After spending weekends in Texas, North Carolina and Florida to open the 2018 campaign the Seton Hall softball team (12-12) is staying local this weekend. The Hall will take part in the Fordham Softball Tournament, hosted by the Rams at Bahoshy Softball Complex in the Bronx. The Pirates are set for four games in three days against Detroit Mercy, Fordham, Holy Cross and UMass Lowell.
The Pirates most recently spent their spring break in Florida, playing 11 games at the EMU Madeira Beach Invitational and the USF Series Under Armour Showcase sandwiching a midweek contest at USF. The Hall went 5-6 on the Sunshine State swing and saw freshman Janae Barracato (Hempstead, N.Y.) pick up a pair of BIG EAST honors, most recently an honor roll nod, after hitting .471 with six doubles over the course of the trip.
