Magnus Krieger Named to BIG EAST Weekly Honor Roll

NEW YORK – Sophomore Magnus Krieger (Coatsville, Pa.) has been named to the BIG EAST Weekly Honor Roll, the conference announced Monday afternoon.
Krieger was essential as Seton Hall went 2-1 over the weekend against Villanova, hitting a team-best .500 with two home runs. Both home runs came in Sunday's doubleheader, the first being a solo shot in the 3-2 victory on Sunday afternoon to clinch the series. Krieger also blasted a three-run shot in game two of the doubleheader on Sunday which put Seton Hall ahead at the time. Krieger also drove in what proved to be the game-winning run in Friday's win over the Wildcats, chopping a two-run single to center in the third as part of a 9-3 victory.
Seton Hall returns to action on Wednesday at 4 p.m. when it hosts Lehigh at Mike Sheppard Sr. Stadium.
