Gabe Cavazzoni Lands on BIG EAST Weekly Honor Roll

NEW YORK – Junior Gabe Cavazzoni (Wall, N.J.) has been named to the BIG EAST Weekly Honor Roll, the league announced on Monday afternoon.
Cavazzoni had a strong week for the Pirates, guiding them to a 3-1 mark with a midweek win over Wagner and taking two of three from Hofstra. The utility man batted .500 on the week, going 7-for-14 at the dish with six runs driven in. The junior also laced a pair of doubles and had an RBI triple in Sunday's rubber match win over the Pride. Cavazzoni reached base at a .611 clip on the week and posted a 1.397 OPS over the four games.
Seton Hall returns to action on Wednesday at 4 p.m. when it hosts in-state rival Princeton at Mike Sheppard Sr. Stadium.
