SOUTH ORANGE, N.J. – Seton Hall baseball players Marco Ali (Old Westbury, N.Y.), Jimmy Brennan (Newton, N.J.), Kevin Milewski (Wallingford, Conn.) and Ryan Reich (Selinsgrove, Pa.) were named to the 2025 Academic All-District Team by the College Sports Communicators (CSC) on Tuesday.Â
Â
A graduate transfer from Marist, Ali immediately became a regular in the Pirates' lineup. The infielder played in 53 of 54 games and made 51 starts, mostly at third base. Ali had the go-ahead two-run single in the eighth inning of a 5-3 victory over Saint Joseph's on March 9. Ali's 3.88 grade point average is one of the best on the team.
Â
Brennan, also a transfer, was part of a two-headed offensive monster with Kevin Milewski at catcher. The senior made 50 starts and batted .274 with five home runs and 41 RBI. Brennan had four games with three hits and three times drove in four runs.Â
Â
Milewski had an all-time power season for The Hall, clubbing 16 home runs, which is tied for fourth-most in a single-season in program history. The catcher also showed a penchant for the big moment, blasting a ninth-inning grand slam on his birthday at Xavier on May 2, and a three-run walk-off shot against Georgetown on May 9. Named BIG EAST Player of the Week once and to the Weekly Honor Roll twice, Milewski batted .303 for the season and ranked fourth in the BIG EAST with 58 RBI.
Â
Named to the 2024 All-BIG EAST First Team, Reich made 12 starts for the Pirates in 2025 and struck out 44 batters in 47.0 innings pitched. The right-hander was named to the BIG EAST Weekly Honor Roll on April 14 after earning the victory in the series opener against Creighton, allowing no earned runs over six innings with six strikeouts.
