
Pirates Set To Face Providence on Senior Night

SOUTH ORANGE, N.J. – The Seton Hall women's soccer team will conclude the 2019 campaign with a 6 p.m. match against Providence on Thursday at Owen T. Carroll Field.

Seton Hall will honor three seniors prior to the match: Jackie Robinson (Matawan, N.J.), Siobhan McGovern (Cranford, N.J.) and Marissa Aniolowski (Enfield, Conn.). Free hot chocolate and cookies will be provided for fans.
LAST TIME OUT
Last week, the Pirates went 0-2; a tight 1-0 loss at home to Creighton and a 4-0 defeat at No. 14 Georgetown. The Hall's back line and freshman Harpa Johannsdottir (Akureyri, Iceland) combined to pitch a first half shutout against Georgetown and, prior to the second half against the Hoyas, had allowed only one goal over 180 minutes.
SCOUTING PROVIDENCE
Providence is 8-7-2 overall on the season and 3-4-1 in the BIG EAST. The Friars are led offensively by Hannah McNulty who's tied for eighth in the BIG EAST with seven goals. Of her seven goals, four of them have won matches for the Friars.
