SOUTH ORANGE, N.J. – The Seton Hall softball team (18-33) was on the wrong end of a pitcher's duel on Tuesday afternoon, falling to Stony Brook (20-19) by a score of 3-0 at Mike Sheppard, Sr. Field. The contest served as the 2018 home finale for the Pirates.
Darby Pandolfo (Massapequa, N.Y.) had two of The Hall's three hits with a pair of singles, while Reganne Camp (Bloomington, Ill.) allowed only one earned run in a tough-luck complete game effort. Camp was out-dueled by SBU hurler Lindsey Hughes, who fanned six and walked only one and also fired a complete game.
How it Happened
The Pirates will conclude the regular season this weekend when they head to Georgetown for a three-game set with the Hoyas on May 5 and 6.
