
Pirates Open BIG EAST Play at DePaul

South Orange, N.J. – The Seton Hall women's soccer team begins BIG EAST Conference play on Saturday with a 1 p.m. EST match at DePaul. The game will be streamed live on the BIG EAST Digital Network via FOX Sports GO.
Saturday marks the first conference game for both the Pirates (0-6-2) and the Blue Demons (4-5-0).

- MacLean currently has 174 career saves, and with two more will pass Buffy Wojciehowski (2000-'03) for fifth on the SHU women's soccer all-time saves list
- Saturday will be the seventh road match of the season for The Hall
- Four of the last five meetings between the teams have been 1-0 victories for DePaul including each of the last three in Chicago (one in overtime)
- The last time the Pirates picked up a win over the Blue Demons was on Oct. 9, 2011 (3-1 at home)
- The Blue Demons have won two of their last three including a 1-0 victory over Pepperdine, who is receiving votes in the latest United Soccer Coaches Poll, and a 4-0 win against William & Mary
- DePaul has not played since Sunday, Sept. 17, when they were handed a 2-0 setback at Loyola (Ill.)
- The Blue Demons have played two teams who were ranked in the Top-25 this season, No. 23 Northwestern (L, 1-0) and No. 12 Texas A&M (L, 2-0)
- Franny Cerny has a team-high five goals and Alexa Ben has four
- A total of six different Blue Demons have found the back of the net, while Madeline Frick leads the team with three assists
