
Harrigan’s Late Strike Earns Draw at DePaul

CHICAGO – Freshman Cassy Harrigan (Beaverton, Ore.) buried a header in the 87th minute for the equalizer Saturday, as the Seton Hall women's soccer team played to a 1-1 draw in its BIG EAST Conference opener at DePaul.
Turning Point
The Pirates (0-6-3) had trailed 1-0 since the 25th minute, but a cross from the right side of the field into the box from senior captain Andrea Palermo (Caldeon, Ontario) found the head of Harrigan, who pounded it past the DePaul (4-5-1) keeper in the 87th minute.
Seton Hall out-shot the Blue Demons, 3-1 in overtime, but the Pirates wound up with their third draw of the season.
