Baseball Teams with Vs. Cancer Foundation

On October 5th, 2013 during Seton Hall Weekend, the Seton Hall baseball team united with the VS. Cancer Foundation to raise money for the fight against childhood cancer.
Just like the year before, the team, staff and other members of the Seton Hall community shaved their heads in a show of support for children who are battling the disease.
Throughout the day, over $1,500 was raised. All proceeds were donated to The Morristown Medical Center and the St. Barnabas Medical Center.
Seton Hall Athletics and the VS. Cancer Foundation will continue their joint efforts with more events scheduled throughout the fall season. The men's and women's soccer teams plan to "Kick for the Cure" later this month, taking donations and selling support bracelets to help the cause. The women's soccer team will hold the event on Oct. 17th when the Pirates host Marquette at 7:00 p.m. The men's soccer team will host "Kick for the Cure" on Oct. 19th when they host DePaul at 1:00 p.m.
