
Baseball to Play in College Station Regional

SOUTH ORANGE, N.J. - The Seton Hall baseball team will travel to College Station, Texas where they will play Arizona in the first round of the NCAA Regionals. The announcement was made by the NCAA during a broadcast on ESPN.
The regionals are the opening round of the NCAA Tournament and consists of 64 teams spread across 16 sites. Each team plays a double-elimination format in their respective region. The winner of each region will then move on to a Super Regional where two teams will play a best-of-three format for the right to move onto the College World Series in Omaha, Nebraska.
The Pirates will face Arizona at 1:35 pm ET on Friday, June 3. At 7:35 pm ET later that day, Texas A&M will host Wright State. Seton Hall will play either Texas A&M or Wright State on Saturday.

The Pirates earned the BIG EAST Conference automatic bid when they defeated St. John's in the conference championship game Sunday afternoon at Bright House Field in Clearwater, Fla. Along with Arizona, they will join host school Texas A&M and Wright State in the College Station Regional.
