NEW YORK, N.Y. – Seton Hall outfielder Katey Brennan was named BIG EAST Player of the Week after a dominant week at the plate, the conference announced on Monday.
Brennan dominated opposing pitching on the week, hitting a demonstrative .765 with an .810 on base percentage across all five games, going 13-for-17 overall on the weekend with three walks, two home runs and six RBI.
The Pirates will resume play on Wednesday when they play host to the FDU Knights. First pitch for game one is at 2 p.m.

In the week-opening doubleheader at Army, Brennan was untouchable at the plate. Across both games, the junior went a perfect 6-for-6, 3-for-3 in each game, with two runs scored, an RBI and one walk. When BIG EAST play resumed at the rival Villanova Wildcats, the Yardley, Pennsylvania, native continued to dominate her competition.
