Sophia DeMarco Lands on BIG EAST Weekly Honor Roll

NEW YORK, N.Y. – After her first career multi-homer week, Sophia DeMarco earned a spot on the BIG EAST Weekly Honor Roll, the conference announced on Monday.
In a down week for The Hall, DeMarco continued to serve as the explosive force around the top of The Hall's order. The standout sophomore carried the burden for the Pirates offensively, going 6-for-12 at the plate with a .500 batting average, while also tallying two home runs and five RBI.
The Pirates return to action Tuesday, March 31, at 2 p.m. when they host the Stony Brook Seawolves in a single-game clash.
