DAVIS, Calif. – The Seton Hall softball team (9-9-1) dropped a pair of one-run decisions in its final day of play at the Aggie Invitational on Saturday. The Hall fell by a score of 6-5 to Iowa State in game one of the day before a 1-0 setback in a pitcher's duel with UMass to close the tournament. The two contests marked the conclusion of an 11-game spring break trip for the Pirates.
The two narrow setbacks dropped the Pirates to 1-4 in the Aggie Invitational hosted by UC Davis, with the four losses coming by a combined five runs. For the entirety of the spring break trip the Pirates finished 3-7-1.
