
Pirates Fall at No. 17 Georgetown

Washington, D.C. – The Seton Hall women's soccer team fell to No. 17 Georgetown, 5-0, in a BIG EAST Conference match at Shaw Field Sunday afternoon.
The Pirates (0-7-4, 0-1-2 BIG EAST) trailed 1-0 at halftime, but the high-octane Georgetown (9-2-1, 3-0-0 BIG EAST) offense took control early in the second half to secure the win for the Hoyas.
Turning Point
A pair of goals from Georgetown's Amanda Carolan and Taylor Pak within a minute of each other early in the second half set the Hoyas apart, and the Pirates were unable to cut into the lead.
