SOUTH ORANGE, N.J. – The Seton Hall women's soccer team (4-7-1, 0-4-0 BIG EAST) will play its penultimate home match on Sunday afternoon when it hosts Xavier (6-7-1, 0-4-0) at Owen T. Carroll Field. Kick-off is set for 1 p.m. on the BIG EAST Digital Network and FOX Sports GO app with David Gass on the call.
The Pirates and Musketeers are each coming off midweek setbacks in league action, with The Hall falling 4-0 at Creighton and XU dropping a 2-0 contest at home to Marquette. Since Xavier joined the BIG EAST prior to the 2013 season they are 2-0-1 against The Hall, with each meeting being decided by one goal or less. The Pirates last hosted the Musketeers in the 2014 campaign, playing to a scoreless draw.
