
Snouffer, MGolf Excelling After 2 Rds in Hartford

SOUTH KENT, CONN. - Junior Ryan Snouffer (Sparta, N.J.) is 3-under-par and has the Seton Hall men's golf team in fifth place following two rounds at the Hartford Hawks Invitational.
Snouffer was tied for the individual lead among 105 golfers following his round one, 69, and currently trails Hartford's Evan Russell by two strokes with 18 holes remaining. For the tournament, he is 3-under-par with a 69-72-141, in second place.
Collectively, Seton Hall trails the team leader and host, Hartford, by 16 strokes entering Tuesday's final round. The Pirates are 21-over-par with a 297-300-597.
JT Harper (Pebble Beach, Calif.) is on pace for his first career top-10 finish. The senior has been consistent through two rounds, firing a 73-74-147, and is currently tied for 10th place overall at 3-over-par. Harper is looking for his second straight strong finish. He tied for 13th last weekend at the Navy Fall Classic.
Sophomore Lloyd Jefferson Go (Guadalupe Cebu City, Philippines) is currently tied for 43rd place at 10-over-par with a 79-75-154.
Junior David Cha (Carrollton, Texas) is tied for 59th place at 13-over-par with a 78-79-157.
Kevin O'Brien (Wexford, Pa.) is currently rounding out the Pirates' team scoring with a 16-over-par, 77-83-160.
Cory Wilson (Newton, N.J.) also made the trip to Connecticut and is competing as an individual. The junior is tied for 64th place at 14-over-par with a 79-79-158.
The two-day, three-round event is taking place at the par-72 Bull's Bridge Golf Club in South Kent, Conn. Including Seton Hall and host Hartford, 19 teams will vie for the title including Bethune Cookman, Boston College, Brown, Bryant, Central Florida, Connecticut, Fairfield, Hofstra, Holy Cross, LIU-Brooklyn, UMass-Lowell, Rhode Island, Rider, Sacred Heart, Saint Joseph's and Temple. Teams will play two rounds on Monday and a final round on Tuesday.
