Schweitzer Named To Academic All-District Second Team

SOUTH ORANGE, N.J. - Sophomore softball player Kim Schweitzer (Syracuse, N.Y.) has been named to the ESPN The Magazine Academic All-District Second Team, it was announced today. She becomes the 12th Pirate in the past five years to be so honored.
Schweitzer, the top pitcher for Seton Hall, boasts a 3.89 G.P.A. in Marketing. She has posted a 13-21 record this year to go along with a 3.74 ERA. Schweitzer leads the team in all pitching categories and is already the sixth winningest hurler in school history.
As a freshman, Schweitzer went 12-10 with a 3.96 ERA.
