WEST LONG BRANCH, N.J.  The Seton Hall softball dropped a pair of games at Monmouth on Wednesday, losing 4-0 and 10-2.  The Pirates (4-21) return to action on Saturday with a doubleheader against BIG EAST rival 
 
In game one, Monmouth put together a three-run second inning, using an RBI single from Candice Palumbo and a two-run double from Gina Mignogna to take a lead they would not relinquish.  Dawn Gilchrist homered in the fourth for the game’s final run.
