South Orange, N.J. – Danni Hennessy scored her first collegiate goal as the Pirates drew with Lafayette, 1-1, on Thursday night at Owen T. Carroll Field. The result has Seton Hall unbeaten through its first four matches of a season for the first time since 2012.

How it Happened
In a shot-filled first half in South Orange, it was the Pirates who found the back of the net to take the early lead. In the 11^th minute, Olivia Beauvois played a perfect cross from the left edge of the penalty area. The pass soared over the outstretched arms of the Lafayette goalkeeper and right to the head of Hennessy, who buried it in the wide open net for her first goal as a Pirate.

Both sides had plenty of looks in the first 45 minutes, with Seton Hall holding a 6-5 edge in shots at the break. In the second half, Lafayette grew into the game and controlled more possession. That work paid off in the 74^th minute, when a shot from the top of the box from Katrina Santelli equaled the score at 1-1.
