
Pirates Unveil Full 2025 Schedule

The slate includes 26 matches total, including 11 home matches and 16 BIG EAST contests.
SOUTH ORANGE, N.J. – The Seton Hall volleyball team released its 2025 schedule on Tuesday. Head coach Shannon Thompson and the Pirates will prepare for 26 contests overall, including 11 home dates at Walsh Gym and 16 BIG EAST Conference games.

Seton Hall will open the season with the Belmont/Lipscomb Tournament, hosted by both Belmont University and Lipscomb University in Nashville, Tenn on Aug. 30 and 31. The Pirates will begin the event with a neutral contest against the University of Tennessee – Martin on Saturday at 1:00 p.m. followed by host Belmont at 6:00 p.m. They'll complete the season-opening event with a match across town at Lipscomb on Sunday at 3:00 p.m.

The Pirates will host the Seton Hall Classic, Sept. 5-7, in Walsh Gym. The Hall will host Iona at 2:00 p.m. on Friday. On Saturday, it'll face local rival NJIT at 3:00 p.m. before taking on Central Connecticut State on Sunday at 1:00 p.m.

The weekend of Sept. 13-14, The Hall will play at the Harvard Invitational in Cambridge, Mass. The Pirates will face Washington State on Saturday at 4:00 p.m. On Sunday, The Hall will take on host Harvard at 2:00 p.m.

Finally, the Pirates will close out the non-conference portion of their schedule with two matches at the Maryland Invitational, in College Park, Md. The Hall will face host Maryland on Friday, Sept. 19 at 7:00 p.m., before taking on Coppin State on Saturday, Sept. 20 at 4:00 p.m.

Seton Hall will begin the BIG EAST Conference portion of its schedule in historic Walsh Gymnasium on Friday, Sept. 26 when it hosts Georgetown at 5:00 p.m. Â Additional BIG EAST home dates and opponents are Villanova (Sept. 27), Marquette (Oct. 10), DePaul (Oct. 11), Providence (Oct. 31), Connecticut (Nov. 1), Creighton (Nov. 15) and St. John's (Nov. 16).
