Saint Leo, Fla. - Anastasia Sereda, Imogen Brooker and Isabelle May all were victorious in singles matches, but the Seton Hall women's tennis team narrowly fell to Saint Leo in the team score, 4-3, Thursday afternoon at Saint Leo Tennis Center.
"By far, this is the most proud I've been of our entire team in a match this season," said head coach James Enzler. "No matter what the score was at any point, our girls, both playing and on the sidelines, were cheering for each other non-stop. Results will come and go, but when our girls shows pride for the team that they play for, that's all I can ask for as a coach. Our girls could have easily blamed the high winds for their struggles early in the matches, but they stayed locked in and battled to the finish. Really happy about this one regardless of the result."
Seton Hall will turn its attention back to BIG EAST opponents next Saturday, March 15, when it hosts St. John's at Murray Hill Tennis & Fitness.
