Davidson and Farrakhova Have Great Doubles Performance at ITA Regionals

Princeton, N.J. - The doubles tandem of Jaden Davidson and Kira Farrakhova enjoyed a strong weekend performance at the ITA Regional Championship, held at Princeton. The pairing won each of its first two doubles matches to reach the Round of 16.
The duo bested the ninth-ranked pairing of Michelle Li and Isabelle Sobee Oak from Columbia on Friday, 8-6. Then on Saturday morning, they toppled Luana Paiva and Lilianna Chitambar of Fordham, 8-3, to get themselves into the Round of 16. With a spot in the quarterfinals on the line, Davidson and Farrakhova came up short Sunday morning against sixth-ranked Esha Velaga and Athina Schlepphorst of Penn, 8-5.
Davidson and Farrakhova are enjoying a great start to the year as a doubles pairing. They were 5-0 during the fall heading into ITAs and are now 7-1 together.
Seton Hall will conclude the fall with road dual matches against Hofstra and Stony Brook on Saturday, Oct. 31.
