Pirates Dominate at Lehigh Hidden Duals

Bethlehem, Pa. - The Seton Hall women's tennis team commenced the 2026-27 season with a dominating performance at the Lehigh Hidden Duals over the weekend. The Pirates faced host Lehigh, Lafayette and Marist with Saturday's matches taking place outdoors and Sunday's matches taking place indoors due to weather. The Pirates won 22 out of 29 matches, including 16 out of 20 singles bouts.

Of the eight Pirates who competed, Jaden Davidson and Niamh Campbell were the two who went unbeaten the entire weekend. On the No. 2 singles court, Davidson came back to win her match against Lehigh's Margaux DeVaul to start her Saturday. She then teamed with Kira Farrakhova to secure a 6-4 doubles win over Marist's No. 1 pairing. On Sunday, Davidson defeated Marist's Viktoria Lorentzon in a one-set match and then teamed again with Farrakhova to top Lehigh's No. 1 doubles pairing.

Campbell was victorious in straight sets over Lehigh's Alice Ann Pantsari and Lafayette's Amelia Pericak on Saturday, and she then teamed with Rachel Benoualid to win both of their doubles matches on Sunday.

All six other Pirates won at least twice over the weekend, including Sofia Segui, who was making her Seton Hall debut after transferring in from UNC Asheville.

Seton Hall will host Saint Joseph's on Friday, Sept. 25 at the Campus Courts in Ivy Hill Park. Match time is 2 p.m., and it is free for fans to attend.
