Baseball Announces 2026 Schedule

South Orange, N.J. – Seton Hall baseball head coach Rob Sheppard has announced the full slate of game for the 2026 season. The schedule features a pair of early-season tournaments ahead of the Pirates' home opener at Mike Sheppard Sr. Stadium on Feb. 25.

- Seton Hall will open its 2026 season in Puerto Rico as they are one of eight teams set to participate in the Puerto Rico Challenge. The Pirates will face a pair of ACC foes in the event, including their season opener against Feb. 13 Boston College. After facing Manhattan in the middle game on Feb. 14, the Pirates conclude their stay against NC State on Feb. 15.
- The second multi-team event the Pirates will take part in is the Swig & Swine Classic in Shipyard, S.C. from Feb. 20-22. The Pirates will take on George Mason, Merrimack and Ball State.
- Seton Hall's home opener will take place on Wednesday, Feb. 25 when the Pirates play host to Wagner at 4 p.m.
- The Pirates then hit the road for Spring Break, a trip which includes a three-game set at Louisville from March 6-8. The Cardinals came within two wins of reaching the College World Series Finals last year as an unseeded team.
- Louisville is one of five teams on Seton Hall's schedule that made the NCAA Tournament last season (NC State, Creighton, Fairfield, Binghamton).
- The first three-game series of the year for Seton Hall comes on March 13-15 against Brown. The Pirates will also host Hofstra for a three-game non-conference series from March 20-22.
- Seton Hall opens BIG EAST play at home on Thursday, April 2 with a doubleheader against St. John's. The series concludes that Saturday, April 4 at 1 p.m.
- The Pirates play host to in-state rivals Rutgers on Tuesday, April 7 at 4 p.m.
- The rest of Seton Hall's BIG EAST home series' in 2026 consist of Xavier (April 17-19), Villanova (April 24-26) and UConn (May 8-10).
- The Pirates will travel to Creighton (April 10-12), Butler (May 1-3) and Georgetown (May 14-16) in league play.
- All told, the Pirates will face 14 teams that won at least 29 games last season and eight teams that won at least 35 games.
