MOUNT PLEASANT, S.C. - The Seton Hall women's golf team will return to tournament play with three rounds of golf at the Rivertowne Invitational, February 26-28.

THE COURSE:
Situated among scenic marshlands and majestic live oaks with thirteen holes playing along the Wando River and Horlbeck Creek, this 18-hole Arnold Palmer Signature course features exceptional year-round playing conditions with five sets of tees from 5100 yards to 7200 yards.  This is a true shot-maker's course; boasting tree-lined fairways, generous landing areas to setup approach shots, and multi-tiered greens guarded by bunkers and water. The fairways are ample, and the greens roll true. They are kept at a medium speed, befitting a resort course yet approachable enough for public play.Â

In addition to Seton Hall and host Charleston Southern, the field includes 17 other schools:Â Boston College, The Citadel, Coastal Carolina, Elon, Fairleigh Dickinson, High Point, Jacksonville, Lipscomb, Longwood, Morehead State, North Alabama, Richmond, Tulane, UNC Asheville, UNC Upstate, Western Carolina and Winthrop.

THE FORMAT:
Teams will play five golfers and count the four lowest scores per round.

LAST TIME OUT:
Senior Ludovica Busetto (Padova, Italy) fired a 1-under-par, 71, in the final round on Feb. 13 to lift the Pirates to an eighth-place team finish at the Columbia Classic. Busetto had five birdies and nine pars to vault 20 spots up the individual leader board. She tied for 20th among 80 individual golfers with a 4-over-par, 77-71-148, for the tournament.Â

As a team, the Pirates put forth a third straight strong performance despite less than optimal conditions. The second round was canceled due to winds that topped 40 miles an hour at times. Despite the wind, The Hall was actually playing well through 13 holes before the round was canceled. In round three, the Pirates shot a 15-over-par, 303, shaving five strokes off their first-round effort. Seton Hall finished in eighth place, with a 35-over-par, 308-303-611.
THE SCHEDULE:
The teams will play 18 holes on three consecutive days. Sunday's first round will begin with tee times beginning at 11:00 a.m. off holes No. 1 and No. 10. Monday's second round will begin with a shotgun start at 9:00 a.m. and Tuesday's final round will have a shotgun start at 8:45 a.m.
