El Khalifi Remains Unbeaten in Spring, Pirates Fall at Rutgers

East Brunswick, N.J. - Hiba El Khalifi improved to 4-0 in spring singles competition, but the Seton Hall women's tennis team lost its match to Rutgers Friday morning, 6-1, at the East Brunswick Racquet Club.

El Khalifi moved up to No. 5 in the lineup for this match and defeated Minchae Kim, 6-3, 7-6(4). She now has four wins in five matches this spring, with one match going unfinished (which she was leading). She has only lost one set so far this spring.

Seton Hall will compete on Friday, Feb. 17 when it hosts Massachusetts at Strand Tennis Center in Chatham, N.J., at 6:45 p.m.
