
Kempinski Wins at No. 3, Pirates Edged by UMass

Kempinski went to three sets for the first time this spring, but she held strong against UMass's Mariya Krasakova, 6-3, 1-6, 7-5. In addition to being 5-1 in the spring, Kempinski is now 12-5 in singles when including fall play.
The Pirates had the chance at team victory when Hiba El Khalifi had a one-set lead over Anna Napadiy, but Napadiy rebounded to take the remaining two sets.
Seton Hall is right back at it Saturday evening when it hosts Wagner at Murray Hill Tennis & Fitness in New Providence, N.J. The match will begin with doubles at approximately 5:45 p.m.
