LAST GAME
Graduate student Jala Jordan (Philadelphia, Pa.) scored a season-high 18 points to lift The Hall to its sixth straight win, a 63-56 victory over UCF on Sunday.
Â
The Hall built a sizable 15-point lead with 3:20 left in the third quarter, but its offense went cold early in the fourth and the Pirates had to withstand a late Knight run.
Â
Jordan had a game-high 18 points on an efficient 7-for-10 shooting, which included three made three-pointers. She also had six rebounds. Despite an off-shooting night, Lauren Park-Lane (Wilmington, Del.) finished with 15 points, six assists and two steals. Sidney Cooks (Kenosha, Wis.) added 12 points, seven rebounds and three blocks.

Â
After trailing by as many as 14 points in the first half, The Hall used a 12-1 run late in the third quarter to cut its deficit to only two points, but the Pirates never got closer.
Â
Cooks was an efficient 10-for-15 from the field and drained a three-pointer in her first action of the season. Andra Espinoza-Hunter finished with 20 points, 14 in the second half, and was 4-for-6 from three-point range. She also grabbed seven rebounds.

SCOUTING FORDHAM
Seton Hall and Fordham will meet for the 13th time in history on Saturday with the Pirates owning a slim 7-5 lead in the series. The Hall had won seven of the last eight meetings before the Rams trounced it last year in Walsh Gym.
Â
Fordham is coming off an 18-11 season in 2021-22, which includes an 8-6 mark in Atlantic 10 Conference play. After defeating George Mason, the Rams were eliminated from the A10 Tournament by Massachusetts. Fordham earned a bid to the WNIT, but lost to Bucknell in the first round, 73-64. Anna DeWolfe garnered First Team All-Conference accolades, while Asiah Dingle earning Third Team honors.
Â
This year, the Rams were picked to finish fourth in the 15-team league according to the preseason coaches' poll. DeWolfe was selected to the preseason All-Conference First Team, Dingle earned spots on both the Second and All-Defensive Teams. The Rams returned 81% of their scoring from a year ago while adding the reigning Northeast Conference Defensive Player of the Year Jada Dapaa.
Â
Fordham enters Saturday's contest with a 7-4 record and winners of their last three games. Seton Hall and Fordham have already had two common opponents with the Rams defeating Saint Peter's, 81-39, on Nov. 10 and falling at Princeton, 70-67, on Nov. 16. Most recently, Fordham defeated FDU, 78-75, on Sunday. Dingle leads the Rams with 18.8 points per game, while DeWolfe is close behind at 17.2. Kaitlyn Downey is averaging 13.3 points and a team-best 9.5 rebounds per contest.
