
The Hall Heads to Jacksonville for UNF Collegiate

JACKSONVILLE, FLA. - The Seton Hall women's golf team will return to action this week with three rounds of golf at the UNF Collegiate at Jacksonville Golf & Country Club, March 9-10.

THE COURSE:
Jacksonville Golf & Country Club's 18-hole championship golf course, with twin signature greens on holes 9 & 18 is one of the finest private country club course layouts in the state of Florida. Earning the title of 2019 Jax Best Golf Course, golfers from all over the world have fallen in love with its charm.

The pristine fairways and immaculately maintained course not only present the opportunity of great golf for players of all skill levels but also provide the centerpiece for one of North Florida's most preferred golf communities. Lying on the tropical North East Coast of Florida, Clyde Johnston and PGA TOUR Professional, Fuzzy Zoeller, designed our course as both challenging for the more experienced golfer, yet enjoyable for the mid to high handicap player.

THE FIELD:
In addition to Seton Hall and host North Florida, the highly competitive field features 14 other teams including: Cal State Fullerton, Chattanooga, Cincinnati, Daytona State, Delaware, Eastern Kentucky, Georgetown, Georgia Southern, Jacksonville, Murray State, Sam Houston, Troy, South Alabama and Western Kentucky.

THE SETON HALL LINEUP:
Senior Lizzie Win (Sylvania, Ohio) tied for ninth place overall and led the Pirates to a fourth-place finish at the 2020 Rio Verde Invitational on Feb. 23.

Win used three birdies to fuel a second straight 1-under-par, 71, in round two, but struggled in round three. Still, her early efforts were good enough to register her second top-10 finish of the year with a 7-over-par, 71-71-81-223. Win now has 16 top-10 finishes in her career and is one shy of the Seton Hall record held by Ali Kruse.

As a team, the Pirates collectively shot 10 strokes better in round two with an 8-over-par, 296, but regressed to a 16-over-par, 304, in round three. For the tournament, The Hall fired a 42-over-par with a 306-296-304-906. Arkansas State won the team title at 16-over-par.

TEE TIMES:
The field will play two continuous rounds on Monday with a shotgun start at 8:30 a.m. The Pirates will be paired with golfers from Chattanooga and North Florida for the first two rounds. The field will play one final round on Tuesday with a shotgun start at 8:45 a.m.
