Hooper tallies goal in loss to Villanova

The Pirates return to action on Sunday at 1 p.m. vs. Marquette at Owen T. Carroll Field
For Hooper it marked her second goal of the season and it came on her team-best 27th shot of the season. She was assisted by junior Alyssa Reszkowski (Freehold, N.J.), her first of the season.
Other Notes:
- Eight minutes into the first, junior Izzy Engel took a shot from outside the 18-yard box that was on target but found the keeper. Shortly after, Jai Smith had a chance on a breakaway with the goalkeeper off her line but she couldn't convert.
- The Pirate defense allowed only one goal in the first half that came late in the period in the 31st minute.
Seton Hall will return to action on Sunday, Oct. 13, when the Pirates welcome Marquette to Owen T. Carroll Field for Sunday match at 1 p.m. Free Seton Hall rally towels will be handed out to the first 100 fans.
