South Orange, N.J. – A 73rd minute blast from sophomore Cassy Harrigan (Beaverton, Ore.) proved to be the game-winning tally in a 1-0 victory for the Seton Hall women's soccer team at Quinnipiac on Wednesday night.
Turning Point
The Pirates (2-2-1) maintained control of the ball for seemingly the entirety of the match, and played staunch defense resulting in a lopsided 19-7 advantage in shots.
In the 73rd minute, senior Lauren Garcia (Westport, Conn.) fired a corner kick into the box where it found the head of Harrigan, who buried it in the back of the net for the eventual game-winner.
