South Orange, N.J. – The Seton Hall women's soccer team was outlasted by Xavier, 3-0, on a bitter cold Thursday night in the final match of the season at Owen T. Carroll Field.
Turning Point
The Pirates (2-10-4, 0-7-0 BIG EAST) allowed a Xavier (10-7-1, 4-2-1 BIG EAST) goal in the 10th minute, and managed a handful of chances for the equalizer in the opening frame. However, a Xavier strike in the 67th minute by Emily Burton secured the win for the Musketeers.
