Queens, N.Y. – Junior Laura Dramis (Farmingdale, N.Y.) made seven saves on Saturday night, but the Seton Hall women's soccer team was outlasted by St. John's, 1-0, in a BIG EAST Conference match at Belson Stadium.
Turning Point
The Pirates (0-9-5, 0-3-3 BIG EAST)) had an excellent opportunity in the XXth minute, when the ball was sent into the St. John's (6-8-1, 2-4-0 BIG EAST) box. Junior Julia Stirpe (Berkeley Heights, N.J.) and sophomore Siobhan McGovern (Cranford, N.J.) were able to force the ball toward the back of the net, but the Red Storm goalkeeper dove on the ball right as it was able to cross over the line.
