
MGolf to Play in the Navy Fall Classic

ANNAPOLIS, MD. - The Seton Hall men's golf team will return to action this weekend at the Navy Fall Classic, September 6-7.
The two-round event will take place at the par-71 Naval Academy Golf Course. Including Seton Hall and two teams from host Navy, 10 teams will vie for the title including Brown, Cornell, Delaware, Georgetown, Saint Joseph's Towson and Villanova.
Seton Hall will bring Lloyd Jefferson Go (Guadalupe Cebu City, Philippines), Kevin O'Brien (Wexford, Pa.), Ryan Snouffer (Sparta, N.J.), David Cha (Carrollton, Texas) and JT Harper (Pebble Beach, Calif.) to Navy.
The Pirates are coming off a sixth place showing at the fall season-opening Turning Stone Tiger Intercollegiate last weekend. Collectively, The Hall shot a 49-over-par, 308-307-298-913. Go led the Pirates for a seventh straight tournament. The sophomore tied for eighth among 58 individual golfers with a 7-over-par, 75-73-75-223.
Seton Hall last played at the Navy Fall Classic in 2012. The Pirates placed 12th among 15 teams competing. The Hall had back-to-back individual champions in this tournament when Eugene Smith (2000) and Justin Van Hyning (2001) took home the hardware.
