SOUTH ORANGE, N.J. - Seton Hall men's golf head coach Clay White announced today the addition of junior transfer Ryan Snouffer (Sparta, N.J.). Snouffer will be eligible to hit the links for the Pirates this fall.
"Ryan has seen a lot of success on the Division II and high school levels and we think he'll be a fine addition to our program this fall," White said.
After starring for four years at Jefferson High School, Snouffer was a dominant force in the NE-10 Conference for Adelphi the last two years. Twice named NE-10 Conference Player of the Year, he won the conference tournament both years. In 2014, Snouffer shot a 66 in the final round to claim his second straight conference title. A four-year captain in high school, he was a First Team All-State selection in 2012 and was twice named to the NJ Herald All-Area First Team. A two-time honor roll member, Snouffer helped lead Jefferson to back-to-back Morris County championships and was twice named "Mugg's Media" Player of the Year.
Snouffer and the rest of the Pirates will begin the 2014 fall season at the Turning Stone Tiger Intercollegiate in Verona, N.Y., Aug. 31 through Sept. 1.
